Recently, the Government of Ukraine has established the requirements for visa to Ukraine and abolished the possibility for citizens of some countries (check the list below) to apply for a visa on arrival. Starting from 2019 they will need to get E-visa before traveling to Ukraine. Such a visa to Ukraine will be valid for 30 days and is for one entry only.

The application process for E-visa to Ukraine is consist only of the online application system and the visa will be issued without necessity of an actual visit to the embassy. The E-visa itself shall be printed if issued.
Purpose of visit
The list of purposes for obtaining E-visa to Ukraine was extended. Now it can be issued for tourism, business, private visit, health care, journalism, sport or education purpose.

The application for E-Visa to Ukraine can be submitted not earlier than 3 months and not less than 10 business days prior the visit to Ukraine, the applicant will need to attach the scan copies of the standard documents such as:
- First page of the passport;
- Documents confirming the purpose of the visit (such as tourism voucher, hotel and flights booking / private invitation letter / business invitation letter, investment documents / medical documents etc);
- Insurance certificate with not less than 30,000 EURO coverage;
- Sufficient funds confirmation (approximately 1600 USD per 30 days).
Visa fee
Accordingly, the E-visa consular fee was increased to 85 USD.
